Moving on...

New beginnings await with Spring, and it is even more true, with my coming final days with my current employer.

Yes, I have finally found a new job, and though it is not exactly communications, it is close enough to the career of my choice, with prospects of a better future and a more balanced life-style. These final days at work, I spend my time cleaning up my files (I haven't even gotten around to my desk yet), finishing any tasks I can, and avoiding a certain CEO who is sure to give me MORE and MORE work until my final day. They obviously need more than one person who can write well. This CEO drives me up the wall sometimes, especially when her tasks are last minute (e.g. coming in at lunch, or coming in at 5 pm!!).

So the remainder of this week and next week is finishing everything, having many many lunches and dinners with colleagues, writing farewell e-mails, etc.

And of course, it doesn't escape me that my birthday is April 5, so wahoo!! Its the start of a new year for me, the start of a new job, and also, the end of 4 years with this current employer (4 years and a few days in fact).

So now that one new year's resolution has been achieved - I think I should start focusing on my health... yeah...I really should exercise regularly. :) What else is in store for me? Not sure, but I'll probably be a little happier.

I just wanted to say thanks to all my friends and colleagues who stayed those late nights with me, and who understood my grumpiness and fatigue in the following days, who listened to my gripes, and of course to my family and bf for coming home late, working on weekends and wracking up hundreds of hours of OT (literally).

It has been a ride, and thankfully, my ride there is over. Good luck to those still there.
