I'm addicted to FFXI.
Of course, this is also a game that allows you to pick jobs, guilds, garden, fish, farm, mine, and also furnish your own mog house.
And then there are the missions and quests that increase your fame ranking, the never-ending task of selling things in your inventory (so you can collect bigger and better things), and also purchasing the best weapons and armour, exploring the vast world of V'anadiel, acquiring Conquest Points for your country, leveling, unlocking the higher level jobs...etc etc etc.
Oh...and then there's the social interaction with other players, meeting people from around the world (I've met people from Great Britain, France, Japan, all over USA etc) and just plain having fun.
Its kept me entertained for HOURS! There hasn't been a day where I haven't logged in (but of course, if I don't log in within 24 hour period, the plants I am growing in my mog house will all wither and die - what a gimmick to make us log in, haha!).
Yep...I'm addicted...and its so much fun! :)
