What a long weekend! It was nice and relaxing.
Saturday hubby and I did a bit of weeding. We have lots of weeds in our yard...I think about half of it is weeds. Saturday night was spent at my mom's house with the family, eating sushi, looking at vacation gifts my sister brought home, watching tv and just general chatting.
Sunday was spent setting up our outside gazebo, shopping for groceries for an impromptu barbeque on Monday, and being lazy for the rest of the night.
Monday I exercised a little, prepared some food for the barbeque, waited for guests to arrive (i.e. family), and had a nice barbeque. It was very nice, everyone sitting outside, enjoying some yummy food. And today I've got some very good left-overs.
Wait...did I say exercise??? Hehehe....
Yeah, I exercised...just skip-roping. I plan to use skip-roping as my exercise....it's easy, cheap, doesn't use up too much space, and I can do it indoors when I'm watching TV (no pollen yaay!). I just need runners or cross trainers and then I will be a happy camper. I'll be even happier if I can stick to it and get nice and fit - I need that cardio. I haven't exercised regularly in a loooong time. And hopefully my hubby will get off my back about going to exercise with him.... So that's my long term plan....
Short term plan? Get some plastic storage boxes and clean up some stuff in our spare room, figure out vacation plans and/or honeymoon plans. Our problem is we don't know where we want to go....we just know we like road trips.

Your bbq was soooo yummy! What a delicious salad and salivating meat!
As for honeymoon, it's about time you two went somewhere! Perhaps you should apply for a passport?? You can find a package deal at the travel agent, or online too... Don't want to stress out too much via road-trip, do you?
Road trip is being planned already. It's economical, and we just like road trips.
And I got a big batch of salad dressing if you want some.
