Thank you

One thing I've noticed from work is while we all appreciate those whom we work with and who are willing to go the extra mile to complete a project, meet a deadline or even just to communicate and plan better - few ever take the time to say thank you.

Perhaps it is the fast-paced world we live in. But it would be a much nicer world if we were able to pause after a busy day or demanding task and say a simple and genuine thank you.

Oh - One pet peeve...

Just because one person decides to work non-stop, through sickness and health, etc., does not mean everyone HAS to do the same. That kind of attitude drives me crazy. We all have different priorities. We all may be employees of the same agency but when the work day officially ends, the time belongs to us. Anything we do beyond the work day is EXTRA. A thank you now and again would be appreciated.
