(or in other words, I'm a compulsive grocery shopper)
I'm a girl. I like shopping. More specifically, I like grocery shopping. :)
It probably has something to do with my allergies... That, and I like to cook good food, even better if hubby likes it, and I can eat it.
We usually don't go to T&T as a rule, unless we need to. It's a great grocery store, lots of variety of foods and selection, but crowded aisles and loads of people with baskets and carts bumping into each other. Not to mention, finding parking is usually difficult. That afternoon was no exception. But we haven't been there in over a month and I wanted to stock up on the frozen dumplings, miso, chicken stock and other items we usually get there. Plus I always like looking at the different snacks, sauces, and fresh noodles they have.
So armed with a small grocery list of literally 4 or 5 items, a red basket in hand, we began to wander the aisles. Just after the fruit and veggie section (which is where we started), we decided a basket wouldn't do at all. We needed a buggy. Afterall, how often do we go to T&T? That was a question we kept asking ourselves when deciding to add another item into the cart, and another item, and another item....you get the idea
About an hour later or more, a few samples of food in our stomachs, numerous trips going back and forth between aisles, and grocery list forgotten, we had finally finished browsing the store. With a full cart.
Maybe that's why we don't shop there often.
Vietnamese noodles anyone?
