HOT Summer

Did I rant about this already? I know I'm a few days late, as the temperature is now a little more normal around 27 or 26 Celsius.

But it was such an abnormal thing, I just have to post about it. This past weekend has been HOT, so hot, Vancouver was even hotter than HAWAII! It was probably around 40 Celsius with the humidity. What's that sound? Oh, the egg I dropped on the sidewalk is done....

It was so hot, cooking was not really an option. Hubby and I unplugged all the little things that we weren't using, to reduce the heat generated by them, like night lights, lamps, chargers, etc. It was so hot, I was drinking LOADS of water, juice, iced tea and milk, and still by the end of the night I was still dehydrated.

The crazy thing though? Hubby and his brother still went to do the Grouse Grind on Sunday....and so did a whole bunch of other people. And he even managed to shave off 5 minutes from last week's time. Now that is dedicated!

I'm glad the weather is more normal now though. Now if only the US temperatures would go back to normal too. Their's is almost a week or more now!
