Its the end of the world....

So lets see....humanity is slowly killing the planet. What else is new?

According to scientists, humans would have used up the majority of the world's natural resources by 2050. Also, by 2050, we would have irreparably damaged sea-life beyond repair.

And yet the BC government is considering allowing the building of a coal-burning energy plant near Princeton???? Oh, and the Minister's reasoning is....because we need energy....

I happen to think we need a healthy planet more!!!

And let's not forget about the new Canadian environmental legislation that "scrapped" the Kyoto protocol because that was supposed to replace it. Ummm, yes, the legislation was a lot less effective than Kyoto Protocol.

Maybe I'll never have kids. Why would I want to raise a kid that's literally going to see the end of the world?
