Spring and Summer bring...

- sunshine and sunblock
- patio furniture
- outdoor renovations
- SIZZLING HOT temperatures and allergies

My friends and family know how I feel about allergies. Fortunately for me, it is not grass season but only tree season. Although I have some tree allergies, they are much more tolerable than my grass allergies. (Thank goodness for air purifiers!!)

Unfortunately...my hubby is more allergic to trees than I am. So of course...being the "lawn boy", mowing the lawn and other outdoor work just makes it more difficult for him. Unfortunately, I'm very VERY allergic to grass so I wouldn't be able to help with mowing the lawn, unless I want to go visit the ER again...with breathing issues. No thank you!

So of course, anti-histamines are now part of daily routine yet again, air purifiers are running in the house, and fans are used whenever we are home.

The great part ...of the sunny weather though, is now we can use the patio we built, along with the patio furniture we just bought. We can also begin our plans for outside....like that still-non-existant herb garden I've been wanting to work on, more landscaping (i.e. trying to figure out how to get rid of grass), getting rid of ugly weeds, and setting up more patio furniture.

Too bad we don't have a barbeque yet. Guess that long-overdue barbeque I've been wanting will just have to wait

Woohoo! Herb garden! We should put it together soon, and then we'll have fresh herbs for cooking! yum!
